Elkstone Parish Council

The Parish Council meets on the second or third Wednesday of odd-numbered months, and additionally if necessary.

Meetings are held in the Village Hall, and normally start at 8.00 p.m.

Scheduled dates for 2010 are: Wednesdays 13^th January, 10^th March, 14^th April (7.30 start), 19^th May, 14^th July, 15^th September and 17^th November.

Scheduled dates for 2011 are Wednesdays 12^th January, 16^th March, 13^th April, 18^th May

The Annual Parish Open Meeting

This is a Meeting of and for Parishioners – it is not a Parish Council Meeting, although the Parish Council has the statutory duty of setting it up, and chairing and minuting it.

Any Parishioner whose name appears on the Register of Electors may address the Meeting, and vote on any motions.

In Elkstone, the Annual Parish Open Meeting is normally held during April, in the Village Hall.  In 2010, this Meeting was on 14^th April.
